March 14-March 16, 2025 Troop 249 went to Lebanon Hills Regional Park and stayed at the Sacajawea Retreat Center.

The troop took a hike in the wind and rain/snow. The Scouts had a well organized duty roster and made three awesome meals! The grilled cheese sandwiches and smash burgers were some of the best we've ever had. They cleaned up well and left the retreat center looking good. All in all it was a fun weekend!

Robbie Peterson organized a work day for his Eagle Project. He planned for a team of volunteers build 4 vertical baseball bat storage racks. This project needed at least four work days plus another day for installation of the storage racks. This was a difficult project to lead because of the precision needed in putting the bat boxes together. Materials needed to be cut and painted, then assembled and touch up painted again. Robbie did an outstanding job orchestrating his project!
